Looking Forward
Shadow Puppet will be reopening! That's the fun news. It will be in the old Greyhound Bus station, which is now home to Idaho Film Society. When??
Well, that's the tricky part. We will be reopening once IFS has finished some buliding paperwork with the city so we can apply for our permanent license. When that actually is depends on so many random and bureaucratic factors that we can't give you a good timeline. But stay tuned!
Shit
Happens
On Monday, October 23rd, now referred to as Wet Monday, a toilet problem said to have been fixed months earlier unleashed untold gallons into the ceiling above Shadow Puppet. After finally collapsing, water flowed to every corner of the space, ruining all the walls, leading to necessary removal of them to avoid mold. That meant moving EVERYTHING from the bar. Good times.

All of the bottles are priced for take away on our shelves, but there’s only an $8 corkage fee if you do decide to stay. BY THE GLASS
At any given time Shadow Puppet has 8 glass pours on offer. Usually we have 3 reds, 2-3 whites, an orange, a sparkling/pet-nat and a rosé.
Did you bring along a buddy that doesn’t like wine?
No sweat, we have typically local and regional craft beers on draft and a few more in the can.
Your buddy doesn’t drink?
Well, then, we’ll have to offer them a Kombucha, a Free Spirits Margarita, An N.A. IPA, coffee or N.A. wine!
